The T-26 artillery tank with the turret A-43 was developed in the USSR in 1932-33. It consisted of the partly improved hull of the T-26 tank and of the welded turret A-43 constructed by N.Dyrenkov. The tank was armed with a 76-mm gun (sample of 1910) and with a 7.62-mm machine gun, which were installed in the turret. This model was experimental and didn't produced serial, but the results of the tests of this vehicle had become the basis for developing more perfect artillery tanks T-26-4 and BT-7A.
