PST-72012 1/72 KV-1 Soviet WW2 Heavy Tank model kit

The KV-1 Tank, first deployed with the Red Army during the battle conflicts in 1939, is considered to be the prototype for the whole generation of the combat tanks KV-2, SU-152, IS-1, IS-2. The leading designer of the KV-1 Tank - N. L. Duhov managed to foresee the great perspectives of the single-turret machine.
At the beginning of the War the KV-1 Tank showed even greater superiority over the German tanks than the T-34 Tank.
At the beginning of 1941 the KV-1 Tank underwent the first stage of modification, and already in the second half of 1942 the new, high-speed, KV-1S Tank, was put in production. The last modification of the KV-1 Tank model was deployed in Autumn 1943 - it was the KV-85 Tank. Up to the end of 1942 the KV Tank has been remained the most formidable tank in the world.
