The present directory in the first time gives the detailed presentation on the main ships strength of all the Soviet Fleets, the marine, lake and rivers flotillas of the period of the World War II. The directory is completed on the base of the earlier closed information of the departmental data releases issued in the 1940-es including those data that was published by the independent historians in the 1990-es. It contains the tactical and technical data and the historical ways of all combat ships and boats that were the part of the USSR Navy in 1939-1945 (with the excluded auxiliary marine vessels and the mobilized river floating facilities. The directory is really interesting for those ones who are interested in the history of the World War II, the history of the Soviet Navy, the military ship building and are keen on the ships modelling, collects the photos of the military ships and boats.
