On the base of the archived materials' analysis given by the organs of government, the General Staff, the Central Headquarters of RKKA(Red Army), by Air Forces and the defense industry organizations in the first volume of "The low-flying attack aircrafts of the Red Army" the front-line aircraft aspects formation or the attack aircraft, in a period before the Great Patriotic War is examined in details.
That book shows how the options on the character of the future war have influenced on the process together with the achievements in a field of the aircraft building and creation of the engine base in the USSR and also the traditional and original types of the aviation armament applied and the typical peculiarities of the target developments at the battle field as well.
The history how nearly one hundred of the attack aircrafts were created in the USSR is written in details. The positive results are analyzed together with the obvious blunders.
The materials on the several aircrafts are published at the first time. The most full version, how the armored BSh-2 (Il-2) attack aircraft was created, is given.
The optimal external aspects of the attack aircraft aimed to conform to the battles condition at the Eastern front is analyzed. It is showed that a wide range of the Soviet test attack aircrafts are conformed to the requirements of that image.
The contents of the book is different from the commonly stated by the historical literature, the "contrasting white and black" exposition
The book includes more then two hundred photos, schemes and pictures, partly they are published at the first time.
