1. StuG III Ausf. B assault guns taken from different batteries of Sturmgeschuetz-Abteilung 192. The color of the skull on the Abteilung symbol (red, yellow and green) showed that the gun belonged to the 1st, 2nd or 3rd battery respectively. Heeresgruppe "Mitte", July 1941.

3. A column of german prisoners captured by Russian soldiers of the 149th infantry division during the fighting for Zaharovo Village. Western Front, 23 July 1941.
4. An L-11 fitted KV-1 heavy tank, belonging to the 104th Armoured division. The logo on its side says, "Kill fascists!". Central Front, executive army group, commanded by Lieutenant General V.Kachalov, July-August 1941.
5. A Pz.Kpfw.IVAusf.B belonging to the 3rd platoon of the 3. Kompanie/Abteilung 1/12.Panzer-Division. The new RAL 7005 Mausgrau medium-gray paint is coated on the old RAL 7021 Schwarzgrau dark-gray colour. The ljgs on its sides are designed for the vehicle to pull itself out of mud or pits. 6. A 76,2mm L-11 fitted KV-1 heavy tank made in autumn 1940. The vehicle belonged to the 104th Armoured division commanded by Col. V Burkov. The tank with the logo "Kill fascists!" on its side probably belonged to the political leader of the 104th Armoured division A. Davidenko. Center Front, Kachalov's group, July -August 1941.

The caliber of the machine guns mounted on this model was too small to use them in serious tank battles (it was 12,7mm and 7,62), but the vehicles were used for reconnaissance and signal.
