Battles, which continued from 11 May to 16 September 1939, ended with a total defeat of the Imperial Japanese Army that earnestly showed the Red Army superiority in tactical sphere and in armed forces technical equipment. This book shows Soviet and Japanese views on different events of combat operations, generalizes the experience of combatants infantry forces, tanks and aviation utilization.
