MCS-001 Defence of Stalingrad. From 17 June to 18 November 1942 bookThe Battle of Stalingrad went down in history as the Wehrmacht's first complete and obvious defeat. Along with the failure of the German politico-military strategy, the battle exposed principal deficiencies of the German army-level command and control, i.e. sticking to a number of well-proven command and control techniques, a tend to underestimate the enemy and overestimate themselves.
