This book is dedicated to the Soviet-Mongolian forces operated during the Nomonhan incident (Halha river region, May-September 1939) against Japanese Kwantung Army. This book shows Soviet and Japanese views on different events of combat operations. It reads about organization, combat strength, types of ground weapons and employment of the Red Army and Japanese Kwantung Army in documents which had never published before. There are 100 photographs, maps and 10 color drawings.
