AMO-7294 1/72 Yakovlev Yak-50 Soviet Trainer (2nd Serial Variant) model kit
In 1972 the new single-seater sporting plane Yak-50 was designed in A.S. Yakovlev's design office. After the plant and state flying tests in 1973 the aircraft was launched into a serial production at Arsenievskiy aviation plant. Soon the small series of modernized version with non-removable undercarriage was turned out. Yak-50 was actively exploited in the flying clubs and exported to many countries.

With the appearance of Yak-50 at the international competitions the tough style of piloting was approved, under which flight manoeuvres are performed at a high speed and with big overloads. After the creation of Yak-50 many other countries began to design high-speed piloting airplanes.
